We are pleased to announce that on February 17, 2026, Xia & He Publishing Inc. received notification from Clarivate Analytics that Journal of Clinical and Translational Pathology (JCTP), has been officially accepted for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. All articles published since Volume 4, Issue 1, 2024, will be indexed and accessible via the Web of Science platform. The journal is expected to receive its first Impact Factor in 2027.

Launched in December 2021, Journal of Clinical and Translational Pathology (JCTP) is the official journal of the Chinese American Pathologists Association (CAPA) and is jointly published by CAPA and Xia & He Publishing Inc. The founding Editors-in-Chief are Professor Guoping Cai of Yale University School of Medicine and Professor Huanyou Wang of the University of California, San Diego. From the outset, JCTP has been dedicated to publishing high-quality research in clinical and anatomical pathology.

JCTP’s recent inclusion in ESCI marks an important milestone in the journal’s continued development. Following its acceptance into Scopus and its membership in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in 2025, this achievement further underscores the journal’s academic rigor, publishing standards, and growing international influence.

This recognition reflects the outstanding leadership of the Editors-in-Chief, the dedication of the Editorial Board Members—including the Early Career Editors—the careful and rigorous work of peer reviewers, and the ongoing trust and support of authors and readers around the world. The Editorial Office extends its sincere appreciation to all colleagues and partners who have contributed to the journal’s growth.
